Napoli have been the best team in the Italian Serie A along with Roma after they have taken victories from all the matches they have played in the league.

Despite this, manager Rafa Benitez has said that he is not completely happy with the defensive side of things. Napoli have kept a clean sheet in two out of the three matches they have played. This is seen as a great improvement given that the team has switched formation from the three-man defence used by former manager Walter Mazzarri to a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Benitez has said that he has seen his team allow a lot of space in the back, which cannot be good enough if the team are to win the title this season. Napoli will be making the away trip to AC Milan hoping that they can continue the good run of form. Even though they have lost their best striker in the form of Edinson Cavani to PSG, Napoli have been able to transform themselves with the addition of players like Gonzalo Higuain. The former Real Madrid striker has already become one of the top scorers in the league after his £ 35 million move to the club.
Benitez won the Europa league with Chelsea only a few months ago.

"Our team usually makes a real performance in the offensive phase. We sometimes leave empty spaces in the defensive department. I'm satisfied if we continue scoring two or three goals in every match, as we have done so far. If we manage not to concede any goals it will be even better. It's important to score goals and we'll work on improving in the defensive phase," said Benitez. Roma will also be having a difficult match against Lazio, which could give Napoli to be the only team to have a 100% record if they win at Milan.
