Napoli interested in Piotr Zielinski

There are media reports that Italian club Napoli might be interested in signing Piotr Zielinski from Udinese.

The player who spent last season on loan to Empoli is said to interest a number of European clubs, especially Liverpool. Indeed there is not a day where the player is not linked to the English club, but so far there is no serious bid that has been made.

Napoli is believed to be offering the player a deal that is worth £114,000 a week. So far the player has not given any indication that he wants to leave Udinese, but it is believed that the club will be selling the Poland international for the right amount.

Jurgen Klopp, who is desperate to strengthen his midfield, will be keen to make an offer for Piotr Zielinski especially with the possibility that Joe Allen and Lucas Leiva might be leaving in the summer.

It was reported that Napoli was interested in Belgium international Axel Witsel, but they have been discouraged by the salary demand of the player. The player who is currently playing with Zenit in Russia wants to leave the club and has attracted offers from different European clubs.

It is believed that discussion with Napoli has reached an advanced stage, but the Italian club is finding hard to match the salary demand of the Belgium player.

This could pave the way for Witsel to move to Everton. Indeed, it is reported that the England club is also interested in the player and may not have any financial problems to pay the salary of the player. Ronald Koeman, the new Everton manager, has reportedly make Witsel his number one signing this summer.

With the new television money available as from next season, it is difficult for other European clubs to fight with Premier League clubs when it comes to transfer dealings.
